Nestled in a protected marina in Providence Harbor, our houseboat is fully equipped with all the comforts and amenities of home! Our location is the most secure marina in Rhode Island. We are nestled inside of the Hurricane Barrier and are visible when driving along Interstate 195.

Located in a very secure and gated marina, our houseboat is just minutes away from downtown Providence’s most popular attractions: Waterfire, Brown University, Johnson & Wales, the East Side, The Providence Place Mall, and the Providence Convention Center. Our convenient location makes it easy for you reach points of interest along the waterfront on foot. Go ahead and rent or bring your car, this rental has a FREE parking space for it in an off-site lot!

This houseboat is located in downtown Providence. It is minutes away from the airport, and dozens of great restaurants and shops. In fact, popular Providence hang outs are in front of the marina including Lola’s Mexican Bar & Cantina, The Whiskey Republic and Providence’s famous Hot Club. Other great restaurants including several pubs, an Indian Restaurant, a Sushi restaurant and the trendy Jewelry District are just around the corner. There is a grocery store less than a half mile away, laundromats, and a convenience store on the corner. Adjacent to our marina is a water taxi service that provides pick-ups and drop-offs to many local hot spots along the Providence Canal.

We provide all linens and towels so there is no need to worry about laundry plus an iron, ironing board, hairdryer and a coffee maker (k-cups). This houseboat is fully air-conditioned and heated for your comfort in any season. All this for less than the price of the smallest rooms at any of the nearby downtown waterfront hotels!

There is a master stateroom with a full bed, two twin beds in a sleeping loft and a full-sized sofa bed for the living room. Additionally there is a full kitchen with a cooktop, microwave and full sized refrigerator. Off the kitchen is the bathroom, which is huge by boat standards. It has a full sized stand up shower, head and vanity/sink.

Please note that guests should bring their own Bluetooth Sound system if they wish to have music on board.

The boat is in a well protected part of the marina. At night the waters are very calm and some guests even find that a bit of gentle swaying relaxes them and makes for a very restful sleep.

After a long day of touring the city there is nothing better than relaxing on your own private sun deck with a cold drink in hand, listening to the soothing sounds of the ocean as you enjoy the fantastic views..

We offer different rates depending on the season and depending on the occasion. Our standard summer rates reflect an occupancy of 4 people maximum for overnight stays. For guests looking to have a larger gathering, we offer a 'Function' rate which reflects having a larger crowd aboard. Function rates apply to parties where there are more than 8 visitors at any one time. Due to the wear and tear on the boat and the increased water/electrical usage by having more people aboard, we also reflect that in the rate and appreciate your understanding in this matter. New in 2016 - Kayak, Stand Up Paddle and Row Boat Rentals ....As part of your stay at our marina, Sleep Aboard now offers several water-craft available for rental including several kayaks, several Stand-Up Paddle Boards (SUP) and a classic Whitehall rowing boat. Pricing is available upon booking and arrangement for hourly, daily or weekly watercraft rentals can be made as part of your Sleep Aboard stay.
