Villa Savannah is located just 5 minutes from the airport in the small village of Atogo. But do not worry, despite the proximity to the airport and the highway, there is hardly anything to hear from the noise, as the villa is elevated and a few meters away from the highway. It is also not in the entry lane of the airport. It always depends a bit on how the wind is, but it is definitely not disturbing. However, it is interesting to watch the air traffic from the terrace in the distance.
The village of Atogo has two small restaurants and a small supermarket. The nearest major supermarket is also just a few kilometers away. Although there is also a bus service, but in Tenerife it is advantageous to have a rental car, which you can rent directly before departure directly at one of the many car rental companies directly at the airport.
You can not walk to the nearest beach, but it is only about 5 minutes by car. Around Atogo there are many small fishing villages with nice little restaurants and beaches that are not yet overcrowded. But also to the next city (Las Chafiras) is only about 3 km. The tourist mile starts in Los Christianos and is about 15 minutes away by car. From there you can walk along the beach promenade from Las Americas, Adeje to La Caleta for about 10 km. You can stroll through the many shops and indulge in culinary delights in numerous cafes, bars and restaurants. Or you can enjoy the sun on one of the wonderful white and black sand beaches, swim in the up to 23 degrees warm sea or have fun with the numerous water sports.
Furthermore, Tenerife also has some of the largest and most beautiful amusement parks in the world. Siam Park and Loro Parque are visited by thousands of people every year. But even if you like to do sports or just enjoy the outdoors, you will get your money's worth on Tenerife. Whether hiking on the volcano Teide, the highest mountain in Spain or cycling, paragliding, will certainly not boring.
