Summary: Hotel needs a bit of work but overall clean and not bad for a stopover. The room was too small for the king size bed that they put in it with all the furniture. Laundry machine dial was broken so only small setting was available. We booked online on a phone in the car when it was pouring rain and just wanted to grab the first room available. I did not notice it was just one king size bed. I asked to change to 2 doubles, which were available (I was willing to pay extra), but agent refused claiming since I booked through Hotels.com, I had to go through the site to change anything. Hotels change my room all the time, this was nonsense. Then agent did not want to let us put 3 people in the king room (the third was a child), but finally gave in when I was going to call hotels.com to sort this out. I know I made a mistake, but it was pouring rain, we were soaked from camping (in a tent) a bit of empathy for the mistake and helpfulness is what good hotel service should be.
