Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lost Lake Lodge. The property was very cute and the location felt very private. It was easy to relax on the rockers on the front porch. Two areas for improvement from my view. 1. The Wi-Fi was not usable which normally would not be a big deal but I was suppose to finish some work during our trip and was unable to do that at the cabin and this also rendered the television useless. That wouldn’t stop me from booking again, I just wish I had known. The other surprise was that the bathroom door was not a full door. The top 20% of the door was open, my partner and I prefer a bit more privacy when using the facilities if you know what I mean. I would still absolutely book this cabin again, but felt those two things should be mentioned because I would’ve liked to know those things before I rented the first time. Overall it was a great home base for our trip. We visited Knoxville, Gatlinburg, Pigeons Forge, Foothills Parkway (10 minutes away) and the Great Smoky mountains National Park. We saw plenty of deer, birds and squirrels through the 4 glass doors that run along the front of the cabin and the blinds were easy to close at the end of the night when it was time for bed. My now fiancé and I would both felt that the rental was a value for the money. The host was very accessible and got back to us pretty quickly.
