This beautiful, luxuriously refurbished independent apartment is part of a historic manor that has belonged to our family for more than three centuries. Consisting of two bedrooms (one of them en suite) and a kitchen/living room, the apartment can comfortably accommodate 4 and is ideal for couples with children or people seeking tranquility and privacy. The manor is located inside an old estate of about 70 acres-including the Grava olive grove with its' 400 years old trees- and a forest. Beautiful picturesque beaches are only a 5 min. drive from the estate.
The apartment has just been fully refurbished, with loving respect to the origins of the house.The kitchen is fully equipped to the higest standard with a brand new fridge (stocked with homemade jam, fresh eggs, butter and cheese) kitchen and dishwasher and both bedrooms are air-conditioned. The house has tv and wifi access. (Coffee and tea are also provided!)
We will be there to welcome guests when they arrive, and any support needed will be provided with care so as to make sure that guests have full privacy.
This is a historic house and the weather-worn colour gives a fantastic patina of age to the building which is situated within an enormous estate.
Southern Corfu is the most unexplored part of the island.The estate is set in a unique rural setting of unparalleled beauty and peace among olive and cypress trees as well as small vegetable patches (we like to grow our own tomatoes, aubergines and courgettes!) By day you can hear the birds chirping, and at night you 'll be able to see millions of stars.
The house is a secluded paradise spot, at a distance of 30 Kilometers from the Corfu Airport, with ample parking space but it is away from public transport. Guests will need a car (we can help with this) and our recommendation is that they hire one from the airport, and use it during their stay.

Roumanades Estate’s asset has always been its peace and tranquillity. Guests enjoy the house by themselves and the location is relatively isolated, with no close neighbours, but still conveniently located - it is a 10 min. walk to the mini market and a 10min. drive to the nearest beach, supermarket, tavernas and restaurants.
The house is cleaned and disinfected thoroughly by a cleaning crew, all out sheets and towels are professionally cleaned and dry cleaned, and new guests always receive brand new slippers and beauty kits. This year we will be taking extra steps with disinfection by making sure our cleaning crew wears protective gear, cleaning and disinfecting laundry baskets, linens and all soft surfaces as well as ensuring there is at least a 48 hour period between guests.
In addition, we offer all guests a complimentary hamper of goodies enough to last them for the first few days of their visit including homemade cakes and marmalade, butter, fresh milk, orange juice, fresh fruits and vegetables as well as tea and coffee.
