It is just a few steps to the historical centre with all essential amenities (grocery shops, butcher, market square, pharmacy, doctor, dentis, post office, ATM, cafes, restaurant, pizzeria etc.). The charming stone house was fully renovated in 2014 and newly furnished. It can accommodate 6+1 guests. It has two bedrooms with a double bed(single bed turns to a double 160x200) and a bedroom with two single beds putted together and a single bed. There is one bathroom. The house has minimalist and tasteful furnishing. Wi-Fi and satellite TV are available. There is a roof terrace on the kitchen with a panoramic view. The rooms are arranged around an interior courtyard, each with a separate entrance. The courtyard forms a kind of living room. The outdoor area is built of stone, like the house. The pool is in a little garden with a Mediterranean flair and affords a great view of the surrounding forested elevations. The house and the locality are especially picturesque, with the typical stone architecture of the island. All the houses, buildings and walls are made of the famous white stone of Brac island. There is not much traffic. As everyone knows everyone, it is safe for children. The village locals are very friendly. The neighbourhood is quiet and this modest way of life should be enjoyed and respected. It is only 2km to the nearest beautiful beach. Selca is a perfect base for a holiday with day trips to the well-known places of interest on the island, such as the famous “Golden Horn” beach, the highest island peak in the Adriatic, the city Split with its Roman palace, the town Makarska and so on. The accommodation allows guests to take part in the life of the locals, as Selca is not dominated by tourism yet. Sumartin (2km) is a fishing village with a ferry connection to the mainland, to the town Makarska (45 mins.).
