Positive: I just stayed here with my daughters (16 years old and 4 years old) and they loved it! The room was clean and comfortable and my teenager claimed the bed by the window of course! She's a huge nature buff and brought her camera and got so many pictures. The noise from the sea lions (yes, they are right on the docks below so its awesome to see!) was not bad at all, but there is a sound machine and ear plugs in the room for those who need them. The view was fantastic! I grew up in Rhode Island and it reminded me of the New England fishing towns there. My kids are born and raised in idaho and my younger one had not seen the ocean yet. We tried a few restaurants in the area (all good food!) and several local attractions (the aquarium, the Hatfield Marine Science Center, ripleys believe it or not museum, and the Yaquina head lighthouse and interpretive center a short drive away! My little one liked looking for shells on the beach and playing in the sand. Quite a few cool little shops along the docks, and just walking down around the docks was fun. The only crappy part (not the fault of the company) is trying to park in front of the anchor pier lodge building. Apparently that's prime real estate when the shops open! So we did have to park often up the hill from the bar. Note on that: move your rental in the evening once everyone clears out for the day! This was a great place to stay and we all really enjoyed it!

Negative: Parking close to the room for ease of loading/unloading bags was a bit of a struggle
