Positive: The staff at the front desk were very helpful and assured us that our room will be available even though we arrived for check in after 2:30 am. The room was clean and well stocked. The room looked like it had recently been updated. I appreciate that there was a drinking water dispenser in the lobby. It was so convenient because we always bring plenty of personal water bottles on our trips. Plenty of FREE parking spaces was a PLUS.

Negative: The free breakfast was good, but it would have be great if the eggs were cooked other than scrambled. I just can't figure it out, but why does the water in hotels we have stayed at, weather in Monterey California or in Oahu Hawaii have a smell. I'm not sure if it's sulfur, musty or some kind of organic material.

Summary: The hotel was a short distance from all of the areas we visited.
