Positive: Enjoyed our stay in Slano at Vila Riva. Large apartment with a comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Beautiful gardens, swimming pool and views. We arrived by bus from Dubrovnik and the bus stop is just a couple of minutes away. Supermarkets (2) are poorly stocked but there are a few good restaurants serving food. The beach is across the road in front of a large hotel, and it appears that the hotel could shut their gates effectively cutting off the beach from non guests. If you can get on the beach, beware the 25 euros charge for sunbeds 😲
