Positive: The hygiene was super. Nothing to complain about. We had the apartment no 16 on the top floor ask for it during the booking process. Nice view towards the sea in the distance to be seen from the large terrace. There was a 2nd terrace, but I think that is meant more for spring or autumn to enjoy the sun until the evening. WIFI was good in the whole appartment and outside. Everywhere also around the pool. Ask for the login name and password. Private parking was fantastic (a 2-minute walk away). Good working air conditioning 1 in the living room/kitchen and 1 in the master bedroom. The 2nd bedroom also stayed cool if the door of both bedrooms was left open. If not, there was a tripod fan. The boiler provided enough hot water for 4 people, and I was in the company of my wife and 2 daughters. That says it all. The swimming pool (1 min walking distance) was a pleasant place to cool down when returning from the hot beach. Lovely beaches plenty in the area, such as Spiaggia Cala Brandinchi (our preference, do book online á €2 per person at https://santeodorospiagge.it) as well as Spiaggia di Lu Impostu, both parking €2.50/hour. Spiaggia di Cala Suaraccia (good reliable boat rental) and Spiaggia di Capo Coda Cavallo (with the 'wild' boars on the beach in the evening) are also recommended. Many more beaches can be reached within 20 minutes. Maranna the cleaning lady and hostess, was quick to respond to queries. Ask her number to Giancarlo who is first point of contact and also speaks English. By the way, we were not bothered by barking dogs as talked about in some reviews, while there were in some appartments. In the village there are a few restaurants/pizzeria, ice cream shop and 2 mini markets for basic necessities.

Negative: The mattresses of the beds, but that is often a personal issue (wobbly pocket springs) and the lack of a modern coffee machine. There was only an Italian coffee machine Moka.

Summary: Great hygiëne and lovely roof terrace.
